One of the perks of teaching in the bush

Today, one of my more energetic students was nothing other than rambunctious in class. He was playing with his toy snowmachine, jumping up and down, squirming in his desk.  “Real buggy” as the kids out here would describe it. I don’t think he got much work done all period! Enough to give any teacher a headache.

As I was walking home from the store this afternoon, carrying a heavy 20 pound bag of cat litter on my shoulder the same student saw me walking by and carried my cat litter up to my door for me. Just because.

This student will also be stopping by my house on Sunday to pick up his ipod that I am charging for him. 🙂

That is one of the major perks of teaching in the bush.
