Cows!!!

We got to go to the farm!!! To understand my excitement about this, you need to understand one important thing about this road trip: every time I see cows on the side of the road, I shout “cows!” Often, I will narrate what the cows are doing, “Cows sleeping in the shade” or “Cows eating” or “Oooh, cute, baby cows!”  And you need to realize that when I saw every time, I really do mean every time. Kyle and I will be in a serious conversation about finances, and all of a sudden I’ll shout “Cows!”  Or we’ll be trying to create our grocery list, “Cows!”  Or he’ll be asking for directions to our next place, “Cows!”  As you may be able to infer, there have been a lot of interupptions with these cow sightings. We did drive through South Dakota, Nebraska, and Wyoming- states where there isn’t much else. Gosh, I think South Dakota may even have a higher cow population than people population!

Needless to say, when my Aunt’s boyfriend Jim, invited us to go see the baby cow at his farm, the answer was an enthusiastic yes.  (I think Kyle may have just hoped that if I saw a cow in person, I would stop shouting “Cows!”)  Oooh, and the baby cow was soooooo cute! Here, I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
