Cabela’s Headquarters

Cabela’s- one of the largest outdoor retailers, and certainly the largest catalog for hiking, hunting, and camping gear.  Their headquarters is located in Sidney, Nebraska. We had to get from South Dakota to Boulder, Colorado, and decided to drive through Nebraska to get there. After all, I had never been to Nebraska before…

It turns out… Nebraska is pretty flat.Although there were a lot of trains. I got treated to a “choo choooooo” noise every time we passed one. Thanks Kyle.

Anyways, we finally got to Cabelas. Sooo excited for it- it was the thing that we were looking forward to in Nebraska.  Turns out, its just the size of your regular Super Walmart. No bigger than the Bass Pro Store that just open in Foxboro. Some neat stuff animals, but other than that…

Disappointing I must admit 🙁

But the pictures must be posted, because I decided to try out my new trekking poles in the parking lot just to make sure they worked.
